Who needs the gym when you are a passionate photographer looking for a great shot?
Having taking a break from his day to day work with Law, Louis Bever sent us over a selection of his latest shots taken in London. Here’s the note that came with:
‘Hey Tayler,
I had some time after work and I decided to take my Leica out when I was in London. The sun was incredible and I know that I would not see London in this light until the next year. I haven’t shot London in 2 years so it was like being a child in a sweet shop. There were photo opportunities absolutely everywhere. I’m so used to shooting Paris so exploring a new city is a bundle of fun. I like how the sunlight bounces of the London buildings and objects. It seems that I was drawn towards union jacks and people relaxing in the sun. I also have a strange fascination with red telephone boxes.
It’s great to use photography as a way to have a break for my law work. 3 hours of shooting in London is hugely therapeutic for me. I switch off my phone, stick a roll of portra 400 in to my Leica M6 and walk around for hours. Who needs the gym when you are a passionate photographer looking for a great shot?’
