A recap of the second days events at the One Star Hotel
Onto the second and final day of the One Star Hotel. The Basement took over the bottom The Laundry for the day and night time planning; kicking off with the Zine making workshop with Grace Ahlbom and Jamie, giving the participants the chance to build a tangible takeaway. Grace is a huge advocate of building items that you can have forever, in a world in which we consume and discard content within a matter of moments.
This was then followed by a screen printing workshop with Liam Hodges. The lucky few that managed to get into the workspace got the chance to make their own exclusive t-shirt to takeaway as well as talk to the designer. However, those that weren’t fortunate enough to get into the workshops were still able to take part in the various activities within the different rooms throughout the day.
Further into the day, the basement debate occurred, discussing the ‘Process of Collaboration’ hosted by Alex Ropes, featuring the likes of Alex Sossah, Jordan Vickors and Liam Hodges.
