18 OLD COMPTON STREET LONDON
This a new series for you all “Thats alright innit”, with me, The Basement’s Underboss bringing you honest food reviews from a man with a genuine gut. #Gutgang
Soho just got a Patty & Bun so we thought we would go check it out and see what its saying. I never been before so was a complete new one for me.
Visuals of the spot were nice, I liked the layout. Wooden tables and benches with fancy art and lighting and all that jazzy stuff they got.
Staff were nice, think they was bored though and we all do mad shit when we get bored like watch those jaw dropping vlogs Brando does.
I gone off beef at the moment so I went for the chicken burger called the “hot chic” which was a fried chicken breast, coleslaw, pickles and a garlic aioli sauce all in a brioche bun. As burgers go I have had better, next time I’ll go for a beef one but the Hot Chic wasn’t anything special. The fries were very crunchy which I wasn’t a super fan of but covered in a roast chicken salt and seasoning which was real good.
Big ratings for having the stubby Red Stripes though, I started to speak patois for a second.
Unless the place is proper shit or have awful staff I always give it a second chance and then if I feel the same I don’t go there again. I’m gunna hit it again and try the beef to see how that is and come back to you on that one.
Imma give patty and bun a 6/10 on this one.
Any of you lot got a good spot you like holla and I’ll take you with me and try it out.
