Last Sunday, The Basement took over Niketown London for the second time, this time for the launch of the Nike iD HTM options.
Split into three teams, each was tasked with designing a pair – the Air Max 95 H iD, Air Max 90 T iD, and Air Max 2014 M iD respectively – and then had to pitch their design to Nike. One team absolutely bombed out of the competition (special shout out to Sufian) leaving two teams going head to head. The eloquence and wordplay of Rory John won the day, and his team took the crown for their creation.
Obviously we weren’t going to leave without getting Nike to bless you guys, so they have given us 3 pairs of these badboys to give away to the Fam.
Want to win a pair? Here’s how:
- We want you to draw your ideal Air Max. From 2 minute doodle to work of art, we want to see your ideal pair come to life. The only two conditions for this are that your picture MUST include an air bubble, and it MUST include the Nike Swoosh.
- Once you have drawn your masterpiece, post it to the thread on the group – CLICK HERE.
- Pitch your design to us in the comments attached to your drawing. What makes it special? Why is it the ideal Air Max?
- Like the thread in the group.
That’s it. Winners will be chosen based on both their drawing and on their pitch. We can’t all be artistic geniuses, so winners will be judged more on their pitch – concept and story is everything!
