‘Taught Me Better’ is the soulful debut track from hotly-tipped singer/songwriter Amber-Simone.
The song is the kind of infectious slow-jam reminiscent of cinematic scores, 80s guitars and early 90s R&B with a seductive beat and soulful melody. The track is complimented by Amber’s irresistible vocal whilst ‘Taught Me Better’ tackles the notion of loneliness through it’s heartfelt lyrics.
Produced by The Basement and directed by Will Reid, the video for ‘Taught Me Better’ offers the first taste of what’s in store for Amber-Simone; and it’s a promising glimpse to say the least.
