adidas CONFIRMED has just unveiled a Halloween-inspired interactive game that grips the adidas CONFIRMED app users and dares them to complete a challenge for the chance to win one-of-one sneakers.
From today, CONFIRMED users will be pulled into a mysterious game led by a shadowy entity that takes control of their screen, dictating what they can see and do, before rewarding them with access to a secret raffle.
The eerie atmosphere of the game is brought to life by the artistic vision of Laro Vilas Boas – aka @larolagosta – who created his very own comic strip for Basement Magazine Issue 1.
Known for his distinctive style, Laro’s illustrations blend the spooky tone of the game with his signature streetwear-inspired motifs. His iconic skeleton characters create a haunting storyline, as users delve deeper into the immersive narrative.
The game begins when users are contacted by a mysterious force through the adidas CONFIRMED app. The entity takes over the adidas CONFIRMED app, and creates an eerie atmosphere by showing only what it wants users to see. To escape, users must participate in a challenge: recording their best villainous laugh.
Once completed, participants will be granted access to a secret raffle for exclusive adidas product: the adidas Japan VH boot and the adidas Japan Country sneaker.
The adidas Country Japan is a custom-made sneaker created by @jwstudios: a design that pushes the boundaries of classic adidas styles with distressed fabrics, patchwork overlays, and frayed textures, embodying chaos and creativity.
The adidas VH Japan is a knee-high boot created by @agatapanucci: a silhouette merging gothic elegance with bold, eccentric flair. Adorned with intricate beading and hand-threaded floral details, this unique piece is designed for those who thrive in the spotlight of avant-garde fashion.
Participants will be offered the chance to win one of these limited-edition designs.
