Primavera Sound 2025 was a vibe — and CUPRA’s Pulse was its beating heart

From mirrored rave caves to iconic DJ sets and custom metalwear, CUPRA brought serious heat to Primavera Sound Barcelona with its multisensory Pulse installation, star-studded lineup, and next-gen music playground. Here’s what went down.

Let’s get one thing straight: Primavera Sound isn’t just a music festival. It’s a full-sensory pilgrimage. The kind of place where someone in silver mesh pants hands you a grapefruit-scented fan and you’re like, yeah, this checks out. But in 2025, one space in particular turned the chaos into choreography—CUPRA Pulse.

Tucked inside Barcelona’s electric heart, the CUPRA Pulse installation was a living, breathing dance machine. Think mirrored architecture that pulsed in sync with bass drops, light reflections that made you feel like you were clubbing inside a kaleidoscope and a sound system that could rewire your nervous system in the best way.

CUPRA’s fourth year at Primavera was its boldest yet, bringing an energy that screamed: this is more than music. It’s motion. It’s emotion. It’s electronic music reimagined for the next generation. And with a lineup like Crystallmess, Lolahol (yes, that Lolahol), and LSDXOXO lighting up the decks, Pulse was a portal to another dimension.

Over at the CUPRA Stage, things got gloriously loud. From Amelie Lens tearing up the decks, to TV on the Radio hitting us right in the indie nostalgia  to Danny L Harle’s euphoric final set that basically baptised us in synths— good times were had aplenty.

Between sets, you could catch a live taping over at Radio Primavera Sound’s studio  or sneak behind the curtain into the CTRL Room, where DJs and artists dropped unfiltered wisdom in exclusive backstage interviews. Yes, we eavesdropped. No, we’re not sorry.

As the sun came up on the final morning, glitter smudged and feet wrecked, one thing was clear: Primavera still reigns supreme as the thinking person’s rave. A place where underground legends and mainstream icons share stages, where the sea breeze carries techno and trap in equal measure, and where every corner—from skate park sets to sunrise singalongs—feels like a core memory waiting to happen.

Whether you came for the music, the chaos, the style, or just the vibes, Primavera 2025 delivered the kind of magic that sticks to your skin long after the wristband fades.
