We won’t stop demanding answers. We won’t stop demanding justice.
The 14th of June marked one of the most tragic days in London’s history. Grenfell Tower in West London was engulfed in flames. Although numbers haven’t been confirmed, many suspect that hundreds lost their lives.
Rather than cast our own judgments, or come to our own conclusions, we headed down to the immediate area around Grenfell to speak to those on the ground and see what they thought and felt about the reasons the fire happened, the response from the community, the response from local and national government, and what could be done to ensure something like this never happens again.
There are still serious questions that remain unanswered following the devastating fire. We need to keep putting pressure on local and national authorities until these questions are answered. We need to make sure those responsible are held accountable. We need to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
We need Justice For Grenfell.
