Second Hand Goodies, Movie Screenings and Exhibitions

Exhibition : Stanley Kubrick Exhibition

A valuable insight into the mind of a film genius. Kubrick has made over thirteen feature films – his most famous work includes The Shining, Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Spartacus.

The exhibition features a wide range of themed rooms, each featuring storyboards and snippets. Recorded personal anecdotes of Kubrick provide a better understanding of him and his process. Work from Diane Arbus and Ken Adams will also be featured alongside the exhibition.

Never-before-seen material from the director’s personal archives will feature in the show, and more than 500 objects, projections and interviews will take visitors on a deep dive into the world of the cinematic legend.

A one-off exhibition celebrating the history of Club Culture arrived at Fabric. The exhibition is in partnership with OurHistory and Logic Vapes to profile some of the most vibrant and exciting subcultures of the 20th and 21st centuries, from the 1970s Soviet Hippies movement through to the inception of Berlin techno in the early 90s and ongoing development of the UK’s rich club scene.

Curated by Red Gallery founder Ernesto Leal, the exhibition will profile a series of global cultural phenomenons across all three rooms of our space, with archived photographs provided by OurHistory. The exhibition will feature eight key scenes charting the last 50 years of club culture.

Event : Classic Carboot Sale

The Classic Car Boot Sale is not your average car boot – it’s the mother of all car boots sales. This year, it’s bigger and better than ever, spanning across Granary Square, Lewis Cubitt Square and Coal Drops Yard. There’ll be plenty of traders flogging everything from vintage clothing to craft beer from some very handsome pre-1989 vehicles. This year’s highlight is the specially curated exhibition of Reliant Robins complete with stained glass windows by artist Stuart Langley. On top of everything, you can expect music, dance, and entertainment for when your pocket money’s run dry.
