As usual, Paris Fashion Week Men’s has teleported half of the industry over to Paris to oversee the newest collections from most significant names in fashion right now. With fashion week, comes multiple of parties which happen to be at the same time every single night, so party hopping seems to be the best ultimatum to be able to experience everything that goes on. However, you still somehow end up feeling like you’ve missed out on some key moments so here’s a recap of what went down in Paris.

PFWM isn’t just about designer fashion shows but also about showrooms and pop-ups from international brands and designers. This season, many talents were showcasing their upcoming releases. Matthew Williams showcased his second pre-released collection with Nike at an exclusive 1017 ALYX 9SM pop-up before his show in Paris. While The Next Door has opened their new store in Paris just in time for fashion week, throwing a grand opening and also welcoming Skepta’s Mains London pop-up over the weekend where ‘Dystopia’ collection was revealed. Followed by a Stussy International Tribe x The Next Door opening party at Hotel Bourbon.

Shortly after Virgil Abloh debuted his AW19 Off-White collection in Paris last Wednesday, Diet Prada went to Instagram to call out Abloh for ripping off another set of brands and designers to add to the pile of his references. Our friends over at Gramm were one of the labels ripped-off by the Off-White designer this fashion week. Playboi Carti who walked the show wearing a black knitted jumper with white and green graphic ended up being a blatant copy of Gramm’s hoodie design in collaboration with Mason Collective. Gramm was one of a few U.K labels who opened a pop-up store over the weekend, bringing Manchester to the fashion capital.

Casablanca – the new Parisian label by Charaf Tajer who is the co-founder of Pigalle, revealed his debut runway show with people such as Skepta and Gunna as its participants who were later celebrating the show at Casablanca’s after party at Le Rouge. London’s brand Something To Hate On (SHO) threw a party on Friday night, exporting London’s music talent to Paris for a couple of performances.

The Polish label MISBHV’s first runway show for SS19 happened at Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw where they’ve teased their upcoming collaboration with Reebok. This time around designers Natalia Maczek and Thomas Wirski decided to make their debut over at PFWM for AW19 teasing us with another Reebok trainer colorway, shutting down a two-level underground carpark with hundreds still outside seeking entry.  The show looked like a psychedelic 60’s/70’s cowboy party filled with love, freedom, and acceptance with Lancey Foux being the last model to close the show.
