PUMA Shut Down Seoul For The Launch of The H-Street

Puma have been on a hot run of recent. Leading the charge in the low-profile sneaker space that has taken the streets and socials by storm with the Speedcat and Mostro, the brand touched down in South Korea to launch their new low-profile offering: the H-Street.

Tracing its roots back to Puma’s late-1990s Harambee track spike, the H-Street was originally launched in 2003 as a lifestyle reimagination of the iconic athletic shoe, maintaining its minimalist design, ultra-lightweight build and sleek aesthetic. Fast forward to 2025, with the rise of Y2K nostalgia, athletic essentialism with stripped-back design and the dominance of the low-profile silhouette in the sneaker market, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect for Puma to dig this pair out of their archive.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the H-Street, Puma took over a warehouse space in the heart of Seoul, South Korea and fitted it out with an exhibition of their extensive footwear archive curated by Inside Tag, interactive areas hosted by Cold Archive as well as customisation stations, portrait workshops and more.

All of this was soundtracked by some of the best live DJ’s and artists that Seoul has to offer and the room was packed with Seoul’s freshest residents as well as a guestlist hailing from Camberwell to Cape Town.

The Puma H-Street is scheduled to release in retailers in June – and judging by Puma’s recent track record, they’ve got another banger on their hands.
