Truth or Resell…
After the madness of last Thursday at Supreme with their Comme des Garcons collaboration, Peter street was considerably more relaxed in comparison. There were a couple of standout pieces from this seasons line-up dropping today, including the ‘Truth Jacket’ embellished with a standout graphic on the back of an already interestingly patterned work jacket; also the Taped Seams Pullover, combining the classic pullover silhouette that customers have grown to love with taped seams to create one of the ‘staples’ of the season.
The most interesting and eye-catching drop of this week didn’t come from Supreme. It came from Theresa May, our unelected Prime Minister, dropping the bomb that there will be a general election on June 8th this year. This comes after she had explicitly stated that there would be no election before 2020. There will be a new drop from Supreme next Thursday, that much is certain. What the future will hold for young people in the UK after an early election, is very uncertain.
