The Basement took over Niketown. Mad ting.
It’s not every day that the most iconic sneaker brand in the world holla and invite you to come and take over their flagship store as part of the launch of a new pair of kicks. But that’s exactly what happened when Nike shouted The Basement.
A representative bunch from the collective headed down to Oxford Circus for an after hours party, which included a history lesson on the Air Force 1, a sneaker maintenance lesson from the Jason Markk team, a few free drinks that were drunk responsibly (apart from by Al Chapo and Hartz), and a couple of bits for the crew to take away.
