Dropping Sunday 24th April as a limited “Group Exclusive”

Set your alarms – the wait is almost over. The Basement are kicking off our eagerly anticipated collaborative partnership with New Balance on Sunday 24th April, launching a previously unseen brown colourway of the 2002R.

We are pleased to announce the limited release of our first collaborative shoe with New Balance, exclusively for our community. The Basement x New Balance 2002R “Earth Brown” is a tonal mix of brown and taupe hues constructed from a variety of rugged materials including waterproof heavy suede and textured rubber. Contrasting black toe caps, heel guards and rigid outsole combine with 3M panels throughout the shoe to create a unique aesthetic that has yet to be seen on the New Balance model. The shoe is finished with branding details throughout – The Basement’s OG logo sits on the heel, BSMNT logos adorn the tongue, lace tips and insole. Final subtle branding elements include The Basement’s ‘9 Bar’ logo laser cut into the floating ’N’ logos on either side of the shoe and a ‘B’ replacing the usual ’N’ on the throat panel.
